Back home, we have a belief. It is that food should always be organic and every recipe, close to its origin. Carrying this firm-rooted philosophy from over 1500 Kms away, we have a Nimtho for you.

We invite you to savour each of our culinary creations that's a tribute to all things, close to its roots. And to relish an experience that is refreshingly simple and all-the-way basic. Slow-cooked the Sikkimese way, every ingredient at Nimtho ushers you to voyage into the quintessential Sikkimese kitchen. A spoonful of dessert promises to take you into the backyard orchard of a humble Sikkimese home and the stir-fries, to the Sunday Haats filled with fresh fern and shoots. With the fragrant cups of brewed tea, you can venture into the cherry-blossom-strewn-trails of Temi. And, in our accompaniments, you can experience Grandma's traditions, preserved sometimes in bottles and jars: other times fermented.
